Workplace Violence in Rural Healthcare

The purpose of this activity is to assist healthcare workers and their employers to define, identify and reduce the risk of workplace violence in their places of employment. An academic analysis will be presented of the history, sources and preventive strategies currently being utilized to deal with workplace violence in rural healthcare settings. This format allows the reader to earn Continuing Education contact hours for the completion of the module while developing effective workplace strategies to deal with violent situations.
